Besides that MPE for the 40i has dual tips, not the quads of the M2 and who doesn't love quad tips on their performance machine.

I don't think there was any dispute of what makes an M car a M car. Just similarities in max horsepower

Now that we know they're offering the mppk and MPE as a package for the 340 due to exhaust back pressure and such, i wonder if a 335 w/ mpe+mppk makes a little more power then just the mppk package numbers suggest

I don't think so. ETK images show that the 340i exhaust is a different design. I am sure they'd do the same with the 335i if it was needed.

Price for PPK will probably be on par with current one. Exhaust is another story. Is it a full catback system or just muffler?

i found some shop in australia who posted I pic and when I ask for a quote they said 2300 for parts only, which would convert to around 1700 USD.

I ask here because I've gotten no info from BMWNA or my dealer. I spoke with both today and I have no info from either.

BMWNA says they are post-sale customer service and that my dealer should know more than them about ordering a vehicle along with what options I can add via PIA. When I asked my dealer, BMW of Manhattan (who is owned by BMWNA) about MPPK & Sound Kit, they said they reached out to BMWNA and that all the info they were given was that it was not available nor do they have pricing.

My CA is all for me adding this and wants me to get it but is basically saying he can't sell me something that isn't available yet. He can change my order's priority from 1 to whatever to slow it down a bit. My 340 has been awaiting vessel assignment for a week already so any day now. I'm figuring I'm at least 2 weeks from my car hitting the port in Jersey City so I'm hoping BMWNA officially announces something soon.

Will do. If I'm reading the Wallenius Wilhelmsen schedule correctly, the next vessel to NY leaves Germany on December 1 bringing my car in on December 15. Really hoping MPPK for 340 is available at PIA by then!!!

Same story here, no news but my dealer has been checking in with BMWNA weekly.

My 340i is scheduled to arrive at the port in NY/NJ on December 29. My dealer is saying they can add a PIA item like MPPK up until the day before the car arrives at the port.
