M140i it is then

Went to Sytner's today - lovely half day spent there looking at the cars there.
Test drive in an M140i and a 220(no240i available as it had been sold) perved at a couple of M2 that they've got there including a lovely mineral grey with the carbon pack and even had them fired up for me .

Truly wonderful experience and can't thank the staff enough for their patience and help - especially our sales lady Zoe.

To get to the point we've just signed up for an M140i for the Mrs !!

Estoril blue

Pro nav

Harmon Kandon

Heated seats and steering wheel

Privacy glass

Comfort pack.

Run flat tyres

Adaptive dampers

Can honestly say it's a fantasitic drive and would recommend to anyone especially with the current deals out there.

Due in June.

Excellent congrats

We would of went for one but it falls short of a fully fledged dogging wagon.

Great choice. I can see why you opted for runflats if the Mrs will be driving. Did you consider adaptive dampers?

Nice OP. I wish I could get my Mrs into a M140i. I can't get her to look at anything other than an Audi A1. She's on her second A1 now in recent years.

On the the plus side she won't touch my 440i. Shes to scared to drive it as she doesn't like big cars.

Tell a lie, I tried to get her to drive my 440i and she genuinely sat there in drivers seat and asked me which was the brake and which was one the accelerator! I thought she was joking at first. FFS it was like she hadn't driven a car in her life before. Her bloody Audi is even automatic. I promptly asked her to get out my car before any damage was done. I would trust my 9 year old more.

Sounds great.

Mrs Macky_Dobbo_Dobster_D'BO has a 2015 118i M Sport and is thrilled with it. She recently though has really enjoyed my 335d and the massively addictive power.

I asked her at the weekend if she'd like me to get some black front grilles for her's and she said.."No...I think I might want a 140i"....

WINNER!!

You should buy her an S1,by the sound of it she would have no clue it was the performance model and you can have fun when you get to drive it.

The most talked about thing here after springs and mpg is getting rid of RFTs.

Car did feel good on the MPSS but from a convenience and safety point of view it's the Mrs' car and she didn't want to risk being stuck at the side of the road - some not pleasant places in Bham.

Oops missed that one off Creepy. Did specify it as rate in on my 3. Added it to the list.

Yeah good call adaptive is a must, in comfort it's softer than the non adaptive, and then sport is stiffer.
