There are a few I'd quite like to see.
The first is a small, simple roadster - more like what the original Z3 was rather than what the Z4 became. Obviously it would have to have an M version, which should be a high revving naturally aspirated straight 6 (possible given the changes in the emissions measurements). In order to reduce cost the this should share a RWD platform with the next generation 2 series Coupe and Convertible. The next two are touring versions of the M3 and M5. Nothing more to say there. Then I'd reintroduce the Z8 which as before would have an M5 powertrain and would represent a genuine alternative to an AMG GT and Audi R8. I'd make plugin hybrids available in all body styles in a range, not just as saloons. I'd get rid of the GTs (which seem to have gone already anyway) and add in a long wheelbase option on the 3 and 5, but only for the tourings. |

How about a 720d or 718i?
I know this is a 4, but you get the idea

4-series Gran Coupe with a manual for North America
2-series Gran Coupe, i.e. 2-series coupe converted into a liftback sedan. With manual of course. And maybe with the B38. A small, light, RWD sedan that I can rev to redline all the time. |

I just hate how they restrict you on the colors/packages you can choose. Are you telling me I can't get a 440GC with Msport in Snapper Rocks or Sunset orange but I can get it without the M package? Just f-ing paint my damn car!

Generally smaller cars but with 5 series or 7 series quality finish.
2GC 1er 3er Would love to see the Porsche approach but it can't happen as it's a volume game for BMW.

http://www.bmwblog.com/2016/08/10/bm...t-wheel-drive/ It's sad because it could possibly the closest thing to a modern day E30 if it's on a RWD platform. |

I would like to see a halo supercar.
And something like the original Z1, a small basic sports car.......more like a GT86 I suppose. And a package of upgrade parts for certain cars, like lightweight bonnets, doors, bucket seats, alloy wheels, etc. |
