You may have an unused fuse position in the front fuse box. The slots for outlets are identified in the fuse location diagram by a dot surrounded with a circle. The fuse location diagram should be tucked into or nearby the trunk mounted rear fuse box.

Splice in a new section of wire using solderless connectors, like these:

From a search in the forum, i saw that some people have installed the front passanger 12v socket, and connect it to the ashtray 12v socket.
I have a question please. If i do the same, the power of the sockets is getting split? Because they are basicly powered on the same connection. Or should i connect the new 12v socket to a new fuse in the trunk? I want to connect a dashcam, i know it's not need a lot of power to be on. But i'm asking this question because i don't want that the speed of my phone charger will become slow if the power of the sockets will be split. |

Power is not 'split'. No matter how many outlets you have on a circuit they all output the same voltage. The only concern is to be sure that the total current draw of all the devices being powered doesn't exceed the amperage rating of the fuse.

Your charger does not run on power, it runs on voltage. No matter how many outlets you have on a circuit they all output the same voltage. If you exceeded the circuit current capacity there might be some voltage sag, but not for long, because in due time the fuse would blow.
