Newbie

Hey everyone. New member here and I just picked up a 2015 328xi Sport. So far, I really love the car and I hope for many years and miles of reliable service. I hope to get her out somewhere nice this weekend for some good pics, but Colorado is calling for snow on Friday so it might not happen.

Here is all I have so far.

Congratulations and welcome!

Very sharp color. Did you buy the vehicle from BMW dealer (off lease)? Hopefully you have a record of all the oil changes and maintenance performed.

Very sharp. As others have said, I like the red too. Might need a radar detector. These are really great cars. I like those wheels more than my M-Sport wheels. What options do you have? How many miles? Interior color?

Black leather, navigation, heated everything, lighting package. I’m sure I have the names wrong, but I’ve never bought a new BMW so I’m not sure about the actual package names. It only has 38000 miles so plenty of miles left on the factory warranty.

Wow that is not how I measure longevity. Way too new and low miles. That car is barely broken in.

I think bmws should last as long as many other vehicles as long as you do basic maintanence. I plan to keep my 2015 f36 to at least 100k miles.

For me, the beginning stages of longevity is at 100K miles. Hopefully she takes me past that mark with no major issues.

Was the timing chain issues that the N20 was having issues with (the stretching of chain) ?

I sold the car already and I think it just need replacement somehow as it was making a weird noise and went straight to the dealer and I did it under warranty CPO
