Just asking members generally if they are pleased with the club and member benefits. Was a resounding yes

That is a shame and a problem, some of the smaller chapters or ones that cover a larger geographic area struggle to put on a good range of events.

Though even in Chicago, I think less than 30% of current members have ever actually participated in a club event.

The only thing I can say is that a chapter is only as good as the team that runs the chapter! Offer to help out...does not need to be much, I'm sure the assistance will be welcomed.

I tried. I wanted more BMWCCA activites such as local auto crosses, chapter participation at cars and coffees and car shows. I was told PCA does track days, boeing car club does auto crosses and its an insurance issue for other events. All my local chapter wants to do is have meetings, not as anything to new members, not one person said hi to me at my first meeting. They wont even get with a local indy shop for a test and tune.

I use to be a member at the Sacramento chapter and they were awesome, the st louis chapter not so much.
