need help with suspenion upgrade f31

Does anyone know if i can fit bilstein b4s for m sport suspension on my base suspension f31? Some guy said that you also need to change the front sway bar for the m sport shock to fit, but im not sure if i misunderstood, or maybe he was just wrong, i' m hoping this doesn't ruin my plans

It will be helpful to visit Bilstein web site and find correct part numbers for your vehicle.

This is the only way to get accurate information.

If it's the same drive layout (RWD to RWD or xDrive to xDrive) then yes. If it's swapping between drive layouts (RWD to xDrive) then only the rears will fit, if it's xDrive to RWD the front and rears will fit, but you'll need a different right side end link.

I have an F31 xdrive and installed Bilstein B8s with HR sports. Still have the stock sway bars.

It's the first time I ever hear you have to change sway bars on a car IOT change dampers/springs. These are irrelevant considering fitment (not overall driving behaviour of the car).

I've never measured the drop but have never scraped, rubed or bottomed out on anything. I even have thicker tires from an OEM F10 M Sport.

Looks very nice.
Good to know you don't scrape. I think I will put b6/8 too one day.

It's a much needed upgrade in my opinion. It completely changes how the car drives and for the better. It now has a more sporty feel and actually handles potholes/bumps better.
