Intro from Manchester UK. 340i Touring owner

Greetings from Manchester, UK. I thought i'd post up a message just with a quick intro.

I'm the proud owner of a new to me 340i F31 Touring. It's a BMW Individual Citrin Schwartz with cognac interior. Car is stunning, but it's the engine that's the real masterpiece. The B58 is a beaut!

I'm coming in to this car out of a 335d X drive, but have pretty much always owned, modified and raced BMW's. Everything from a crazy S62 E30, E36 M3 Evo, M3 CSL, to all body types of the E9X M3 and an M6!

Getting in this 340i has definitely given me the bug to start playing again. In the two months i've had it, i've fitted a Schnitzer sport suspension kit(with F34 Eibach rear springs and damper revalve from Bilstein to suit, calculated using Farkle/Fast Cat spreadsheet), M3 lower arms/TS and millway monoballs, Wagner 200 Cell sports cat, X4M Tailpipe tips, MHD Stage 2 and an XHP Stage 2 map. I'm trying to keep the balance more fast road, and resist the temptation to over modify so it doesn't become hard work as a daily.

Safe to say i've been pretty bitten by this one, so I can see myself dangerously becoming more active in the forum!

Thanks to all the amazing contributors on here. I've learnt a lot watching the various guides and info from Kern417 and Farkle and numerous others who've trod the path, resolving issues and pushing the platform forward. Cheers

Only took me almost a year to post these. Finally got round to taking some pics today. The cognac interior went and Silverstone 2 F80 seats came in their place.
