help with my car please
so I shut my car off and turn it right back on. all of a sudden a high pitched noise is happening and my car is dumping thick white smoke outta the exhaust. let it cool down and got it towed home. turned the car on to put it in neutral and it seemed to run fine, slight bit of white smoke when loading on to tow truck, nothing when unloading. Gonna get it checked out by my mechanic. But should I be really worried?

Update It was the PCV Valve

It is the pcv valve gasket at the top that most likely tore, super common. Can order replacement cap off bimmernetwork or a pcv delete kit from Ross racing which I highly recommend!
