This compares to 18.72 lbs. each for the 18x9" EC-7RS wheels. That's 8 lbs. less un-sprung weight per corner, a reduction of 32 lbs. in total. The improvement is ride quality, bump compliance and overall smoothness is noticeable, even though I was already running non-RFT tires before (& after). Very happy here! |

Awesome thread! Just helped me dial in my selection of ARC-8 Anthracite 18x9 ET30 wheels! Thanks.
Quick question, what brake calipers fit inside these wheels? I have the base BMW brakes on my 440ix w/ M sport package I think. Looking to upgrade my "stop" in parallel with all the "go" I'm adding. |

Just wiped them down because of the rain yesterday. The sun was hitting them just right so I snapped some quick pics. They really don't do them justice as the brushed aluminum finish absolutely gleams in the light. Sometimes I open the front door just for a peak, hehe.

If I can go back In time I may consider 245/275 for more aggressiveness and hyper silver so they pop out more. But the black does match my accents. You can’t go wrong with either of those wheels.

Picked up a used set from an AWD car. It perfect but for the price I figured I might as well do it.
18x9 +42 with 245/40 Im heavily considering 255/40 or 265/35 for the rears. Guessing based on the offset I might need a spacer but ARC8s are literally my favorite wheels and I’m so glad to have yet another set on my second BMW 😂 |
