ZGM Flexray Synchronisation failure

I am having an intermittent Flexray synchronisation failure that is causing my ZGM module to store a fault (17 instances according to Ista). SA is saying that he cannot look at "electrical gremlins" until it causes an issue. Anyone else seen Flexray synchronisation faults? This is on F31. Thanks in advance.

I've done a ton of retrofits and mods to my car and I see this one pop up all the time on ISTA as well. I haven't noticed any symptoms as a result of it so I just ignore it, but if you do find out please report back here.

Just reading some old posts and found this one. I have F31 and noticed the same Flexrey sync issue. I believe it was only if I connected Ista with ignition on and car not running. When car was running and then ista was connected no issue was detected.

It's normal. It happens when you connect ISTA to the vehicle. I would not consider it a "real" fault code.

Thanks for the followup.

I wondered if it was related to ISTA, but I recall having some mileage stamps where I knew I was not connected, so I dismissed the idea. That car is gone now, will see if it pops up on the ole replacement.
