This week kicks off the U.S. press launch for the 4 Series Coupe and 3 Series Gran Turismo (GT) and we're on hand in Seattle for the event.

Here are our pics of a Mineral Gray 428i with M Sport package. The M Sport package for the 4 Series includes:

M Sport suspension standard (RWD models only)
M Sport Brakes standard (also available as stand-alone option on all 435i coupes and optional upgrade on 428i coupe when M Sport is chosen)
M aerodynamic package (front apron, rear bumper/diffuser, side skirts)
High-gloss Shadow Line trim
Estoril Blue Metallic option only available with M Sport
M Sport 18" or optional 19" wheels (435i only)
Interior: M door sills, M leather steering wheel, M driver's footrest

Thanks, if you have any of AW as well that would be great. My car goes into production this week with AW/CR but seeing more of these in red I'm considering switching to MR/VB instead.

Interesting... the configurator on BMWUSA doesn't reflect this. I have a 435i M Sport on order but did not select the $650 M Sport Brakes option. Are you saying I will get the blue brakes anyway? That'd make my day!

That MG is a beauty. This car is transformed in M-sport. I definitely prefer this M-sport over the F30.

Those were the initial specs released on the package, so it may not be entirely accurate. Hopefully some other members can chime in with a definitive answer.

Thanks, Jason. I'm pretty sure that they are not standard on the 435i M Sport pkg in the US. I just double checked on my order sheet and it breaks down all of the components of the M Sport Pkg but does not mention anything about brakes. I remember seeing this in the initial press release stuff back in July, but I never saw any real validation on BMW's website. If you have a chance to ask anyone from BMWNA while you're at the event, I'd appreciate it! I may try calling them this afternoon to see if anyone there knows.

I checked the BMW SA online configurator and it reflects a no-cost option for the M-sport brakes on the STANDARD (and of course M-sport) 435i, but a $700 option for the 428i only when M-sport is selected and not as a standalone option as in the 435i.

So you may be in luck!

So much better than the "dog jowls in the wind" look of the standard cars.

And is it just me or does the front of the MSport 3GT look really good.....too bad the rest of the car is so hideous. Wish the standard F30 looked that good.

You need to step up to a 435i , 10k more. Same thing with the f30. For Canadian market that is.
