I am in no rush to sell as its not costing me anything to keep it, so will only let it go for the right price.

Any other opinion is speculative

Cheers
And we now have an answer, £1670 less ebay fees (accounting for the transfer fee of £80 that the seller is paying).

Kinda reminds me of that programme 4 Rooms.

Happy days...

This came back up for sale recently after chasing it.. IIRC the buyer placed it on a 420 or 430D.

They're asking for £4k now

I was actually willing to put a solid 2k towards it for my build, but not 4k on a platform worth 10-15k haha.

it's insane what some people want for plates.

I had F30 TWO released to auction when I did the f32 front end swap on my old f30, i think it sold for £800ish plus fees? more than I wanted to spend on a novelty plate at the time - since it sold at auction it's been up for sale at around 3k and not once has it sold 😂

No way! I spotted this and debated in a Facebook group as to whether I wanted to spend around £800 on something that predominately said F30 haha. I then regretted it later and also found it in the thousands.

It's a bit like they want £8k for F22 BMW - they'll never let it go for less because of the novelty and brand, but also nobody is going to spend that on this platform

Number plates tied to car models are always going to be a hard sale. You would need to seriously love your F22 to spend £8k on a plate.

I have a £250 6 digit plate on my car with my initials just because it was cheap, my partner has always wanted one but as her name is Sam and her initials are also SAM it was hard to find something cheap.

I ended up getting her a 54MMY plate by registering interest and waiting over 6 months for it to come to auction. On my hunt though I saw MR54MMY and they want £10k for it.
