Looking at those dates I won't be able to do N24 next year - I have a family wedding to go to on the 22nd. Spa WEC is 6 hours next year which is a long way to go for a short race, so it looks like it's Le Mans again next year (for me at least).

N24 is not as well organised as LM so a lot of people book their own thing and buy tickets on the day as it's cheaper. VLN info is here: https://www.vln.de/en/startseite-en/ Radio LeMans has English commentary for VLN and N24 too, with YouTube video in a English as well. |

Went the first time this year, can't recommend enough, if you haven't been before do it! especially if you will be going with people who have been, it helps a lot.
My advice would be to take a small FM radio with some earphones and back up batteries, really helps to listen to the radio LM channel throughout as once it starts you can quickly loose track of what's going on! The sound of the non hybrid LMP1 prototypes is insane! Also this year the GT40 with anti lag was pretty special, although wasn't enjoying the Porsche RRS ear shredding Akrapovic exhausts. We camped on a site on tetre rouge before mulsanne, was a great spot. The festival atmosphere and a rake of beer with motorsports was spot on! We took the route that the Lotus owners club created a few years ago, very scenic and twisty through rural France. |
