Michelin Pilot Super Sport vs. Pirelli Cinturato P7 Summer

My F30 335i Sport came with the stock SUMMER (Not All-Season) Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires in size 225/45R18.

The stock tires are fine but I have been itching for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports as they are so highly reviewed. I understand they are not runflat and I will have to keep a spare kit in the car or frankly just call BMW roadside assistance who I have asked on several occasions and they confirmed that they WOULD come tow/help me even if I didn't have run-flats on and that is why I'm stuck.

Also more recently I have enjoyed driving my brother's F10 335i X-Drive (Sport Package) and notice the difference in comfort (yes his seats are more comfortable but I think suspension and tires may play a role as well). Plus my car has the (passive) Sport Suspension.

I can't find any reviews that compare the P7 vs the Super Sport and the P7 summer doesn't have Survey results on Tire Rack about how people rated it.

Question 1) Can I expect a more comfortable ride on the Michelin tires vs. the runflat Pirelli summer? If so, noticeable?

Question 2) Would going with maybe 235/45R18 help make for a more comfortable ride since the sidewall would be a bit thicker (0.17")? And at the same time enjoy a bit more grip from 235 wide tires?

Any general advice or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have monthly issues Consumer Reports, the Michelin is overall 98 point higher than the second one by 8 points... PSS is flawless even the money wise... compare to runflats.

i have the PSS for my BBSs. they are extremely quiet and comfortable. can't even feel the car was moving on the highway...

Runflat is hard and bouncy... that's all i can say.

hope this can help you to decide.
