Wheel Question

Gents,

Sorry for the newbish post...I started looking around old posts and couldnt really find out what I was looking for. I'm planning on purchasing the OZ Ultraleggera wheels (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...sort=Brand)for my F30 Sport line. The "optional" fit suggested for the rears is (and only one I can go with) is 225/40-18 with a 40mm offset. While the fronts are the what seems to be standard 225/45-18 35mm offset. Im still learning the whole wheel thing. But Im attempting for a "bulldog stance" I guess my question is would the 40mm offset be enough to essentially have the wheels flush with the side, I know it seems vague just looking for some advice about the fit.

Thanks for the help.

EDIT::: just realized the et40 is staggered and an inch wider. Go with that for the rear and add a 5mm or 13/15mm spacer to make it flush. I would go with a 225/45 front and 255/40 rear. Oem staggered are 8in front with a 225/45 and 8.5 in rear and they run a 255/40 on them. So 9in with 255 will look even better.

Got ya I just realized I made an error in my original posting. The rear has a fitment of 255/40-18. So that with a 5mm spacer should be perfect huh?

What is a 'bulldog stance'?

If you're going to for a certain look and that look is a lot of rubber on that ground (wide tire), wide stance (flush) and low center of gravity (low aspect ratio) . . . you could do a more aggressive set-up.

That's a nice, classic wheel. Very light, too.
