It has to be installed in 3 parts. You can use a single USB Drive 8 GB or larger, but you must configure it 3 times to be USB1, then USB2, the USB3. You cannot just put all folders and files on a 32 Gb or larger drive and install it at once.

If I recall correctly, early production of new MY typically comes with previous year map (July - October). Around November or so production includes new/next calendar year maps. BMW typically offers a free upgrade for July - October builds on next scheduled service visit.

I could be wrong, but I recall this happened in MY13.

Question with install process: How come you have to download all all 23 RAR files but you only extract the first file (part01)? Am I missing something? Should I only download the first RAR file?
