I love the colour especially in the sunlight, the metallic really does pop.

The previous owner who is a good friend of mine had Simon from Bavarian Coding retro fit the 6WB cluster along with I drive 6 with Apple CarPlay, which I think makes a massive difference to the cabin and brings it right up to date.

As for the wheels sadly due to the normal corrosion and worming my good friend decided to get the wheels refurbed in ferric grey which I think suit the car quite nicely.

0w-20 to 5w40 LL04 all approved. I go same as Ian above 5w30. The shell helix that comes in the cars seems to be pretty good oil looking at the data sheets.

Looking at F8x Lower Control Arms and Tension Struts then some track days next year.

Spent way too much on mods in the last few months.

through mgflasher, they've added a flame option. In essence it increases the burble aggression, and shoots flames. You can fine tune the flame too, duration etc.

obviously you'll need to run decatted for this to work.

Some shots of my 440i GC in Italy last summer. Bought it new in Dec 2016 and now showing 35k miles, mostly from European touring. Standard apart from the MPPSK and the black grilles. Still very pleased with it but starting to get itchy feet - this is the longest I've ever kept any car apart from my old Z1. No idea what to replace it with though.

First photo was taken at the southernmost point of the heel of Italy with the Ionian Sea in the background - some 2,000 miles or so from home!

Here's mine.
Only mod in the pipeline so far is swapping out the mpe for the mppsk.
Think it'll need lowering at some point but I don't want to ruin the comfort.

Definitely worth getting the MPPSK, mine was fitted by the original owner which is what swayed me to buying the car. As for lowering another thing to consider is the front splitter as I guess it won’t last long with the car any lower.
Nice motor by the way 👍

Random question for everyone, have you had many people offering to buy your car, including dealers?
My local dealer keeps calling and I've had about 5 people ask me to let them know when I'm ready to sell lol.

most high spec, good quality cars privately advertised on autotrader seem to e getting snapped up by dealers. There is a real shortage of these on the market at the moment, which can be seen by higher prices offered from the likes of WBAC etc.
Multiple reasons for this, but basic supply and demand.
-> Superconductor shortages, so longer waiting times for a new car, so people turn to used cars instead
-> less lease cars taken up during covid, so less supply expected back into the market
-> people are not travelling as much, so no need to get a new car every 2-3 car, instead makes sense to buy a used car.
-> Inflation; in general and on average most items have gone up in value by quite a bit. including houses.
-> less cars pushed into the used market from the like of hertz and other rental companies. They tend to do this based on mileage rather than age, but given less miles are being driven there is less cars being sold back.
-> ULEZ zones expanding so more people not buying non-ulez compliant cars.
-> more specific for the 340i, the M340i are very pricey at the moment too, so the 340i still represents very good value for money

probably missed off a few points but hopefully covers the reasons behind it.

Mppsk being fitted today, can't wait to pick it up!
Good point, hadn't thought of the splitter, it's carbon fibre so don't really want to go smashing it.. maybe I won't lower it then!
And thanks, im really happy with it, only had it about a week :-)
