I was 38 when I bought my f30, put a fair amount of money into it - it was fast and fun until the engine seized. Now I'm 40 and in the process of learning what I did wrong with the F30 while incrementally modding my Benz.

30! wow feel young! considering this thread started 8 years ago. I wouldve been in the Evo back then. first BMW, im sure it wont be the last, but have a GLC43 lurking around at night to terrorise the 328.

Think I've commented on this thread before, but I'll update...
Just turned 29 and on my third BMW so far. First was a '14 320, second was a '15 320, current is a '16 428i GC. Not consecutive... I keep switching brands, but keep coming back to BMW!

23! Bought my 328i when I was 22. My very first "new" car. I had always borrowed my mom's 1999 Madzda and 2001 Honda Acord. Was looking at carmax online and fell in love with the BMW style and luxury it offered. Got lucky with a good deal. Been a year now and still happy with it

mid-50s. Owned BMWs on and off for about 25 years. Just picked up this nice '17 440i last week, our 11th Bimmer. Tried the 5/6 series a few years ago (640i GC). Boats. Stuck with the 3/4s ever since.

Just turned 50 eight days ago and the next day, I traded my 2013 335is in for a 2016 CPO 340i w/M Sport pkg. My 335is was picked up 18mos ago and replaced my 2011 E90 335i w/Sport & Premium Pkg as well as the Performance Power Kit Tune. That was picked up when I was 42 and replaced my 2005 330ci w/ZHP Pkg. that was first BMW and I picked that up when I was 37. I've been spoiled by the "Ultimate Driving Machine" and it's difficult for me to consider any other car. I've only had the F30 for one week so only been able to add 35% tint and Carbon Fiber mirror caps, but plans are 442M wheels, Eibach Springs for the Adaptive Suspension, 10mm spacers on all four corners and perhaps a higher flow Intake & freer flowing exhaust.
