Many people do not understand how we test things. That one GC+ unit was shipped out as a TEST unit. We tell, and told this tester, PUSH it until it breaks. He asked how far as I said as far as you can. Paul was pushing more than 40PSI on the turbo. THIS is how you find the limits of things, you push them well past what they are designed to run, and see what fails. We got the unit back, inspected it, and it was exactly as we assumed, Overspeed, and thrust failure from simply pushing it way past its surge line, and RPM limit. Now we know where to set the boost recommendation for the unit. The tester was sent another unit at no cost and was told to keep it under 35psi.

Totally get it, but test it with 20K on the line? Yikes

The TU pump is enough for you. He easily pulls the 98-101Ron and E30.

If I am only running pump gas with an upgraded HPFP will the GC+ put out more power than the GC ?

At first i wanted to quote/tag you cause i saw Russia in contacts
For this price with core deposit it is a good option, depending on product quality.
« Turbosystem » it’s from Lithuania, i was on their website yesterday.
As far as you know is it reliable product?

More than 10 people put it in our Russian Federation. Haven't heard any bad reviews from anyone.

Lately i’ve seen a good amount of people selling their DAW Flow Max+.
In a B58 FB page few people are selling it in the last weeks
I’m wondering what is going on.
If someone selling it could tell us their side of the story.
No bashing, facts and personal experience would be great.
Thanks

Honestly... from experience and not just what you read .... get a very cost efficient VTT GC turbo guys ... these are rock solid, spool like a stock turbo, and make a ton of power

same reason you see people selling TU pumps all the time. They're either going bigger or selling their cars.

I gotta disagree on that one Kevin, DaW is close to new on the B58 platform, so it means they bought it recently. TU pump isn’t so new on the platform in comparison to Daw. People spending a good amount of cash and changing their mind few months after.
In my perspective the decision between a 500 and 2700$(approx) spend is different.
Upgrade and selling i agree but so little time between the buying and the selling is awkward IMO.
I think Daw make good products but time will say how reliable it will be.

I’m hoping DAW proves to be a great product. For the cost of $2500 to make 550whp at similar to stock lag sounds like a winner.

Only time will tell how well DAW turbos hold up. I was planning on using a DAW turbo but ended up going with a pure 800, since I live in California I wanted a turbo that could pass visual inspection. If you plan on going with a DAW turbo and have questions I would reach out to Mike @ extreme powerhouse. He sells DAW turbos, when I looking at my options for upgrading turbos he was very helpful with answering any questions I had.

Why wouldn't the DAW pass visual SMOG but the pure will?
