Sport 100%. Huge difference in power vs Comfort, at least with a manual trans. Nobody at the store bothered to explain all this to me as a 1st-time BMW owner so I was in Comfort mode all the time and wondering why my expensive new 300hp car accelerated like an old Camry.

Sport mode? What is thOOOOO SHIIIIITTTTTtttt...

What? Maximum engine power output is the same in comfort, sport, and sport+. There are changes to throttle, WGDC, and other tables that make the car "feel" different and be more responsive to initial pedal input but 100% throttle is 100% throttle and the car will accelerate just as fast

Exactly, a lot of 'placebo' on here!

Well, whatever changes from Comfort to Sport (not at WOT) it sure makes a difference in total feel. I hate Comfort mode unless I'm on a long highway drive.
