Has anyone ever had the code 48068c pop up, i tried doing launch control the other day, i mashed down the break pedal hard but the car didn't hold and slipped a bit and went forward a little until i hit the brake, so this time i pressed the brake even harder and launch control worked but the car lost traction like it was a rwd car even though its xdrive car immediately threw up a chassis stabilization error.
Heres a video of exactly what happened

Any insight and if i should be worried would be appreciated

Is it the first time you use LC? Have you had problems like that before or has it always worked fine? Anything new since then?

What's your setup now?

Error seems to be related to the transfer case. Hopefully not broken…

Have you tried LC again? I mean there isn't much to lose - if there is a problem, there is a problem whether you provoke it or not. And if it was sporadic - at least you would know...

The newer BM3 tunes allow you build quite a bit of boost while launching. You likely launched too hard and the trans stopped you. The same thing has happened to me a few times, and like you said the error just goes away.

So i shouldnt be worried about any underlying tranny failures or transfer case failures? I only have 44k miles never tuned or abused before

Not from what happened just try not to let it happen again. Watch your boost as you launch, try not to hold it for too long.
