Currently running Pirelli P zero on 437m rims with stock m suspension.

Front: 245/35/19
Rear: 265/35/19

About to get 4 new tires and trying to figure out the best setup because this is how the car came when I bought it awhile ago.

Want to change to Michelin Pilot Super Sport with OEM 437m tires sizes.

Front: 255/35/19
Rear: 275/35/19

I have searched the threads for hours and have found a few saying that ran the oem setup but with not too much explanation.

What are the pros running either of these setups and the cons? If my current tire width is smaller than oem tire width for these rims that means my tires are being stretched right? Does that cause tires to square? I don’t know too much and trying to learn.

245/35/19-265/35/19 is OEM M2 size combo
255/35/19-275/35/19 is OEM M3/M4 size combo

if you are RWD you can run either size combo.

with lowering springs you can run 245/35/19-285/30/19

So I got 255/275 Yokohama adven apex tires and I get slight rubbing when reversing on inclines at a certain position. Happens on passenger side only. Other than that no rubbing. Should be fine under normal conditions. Might sand down that area.

From experience testing with other makes. Going to wider for cool factor or grip is nice. But if your used to handling of steering to be what your used to stay stock width in front. But also larger rear creates more grip, but can also create a push condition for more understeer then over. I used to track a camaro on a square setup with stock widths, then went to a larger rear. More contact at launch, but car was unbalanced on track. I could of sorted with less sway bar. What I did was went to a wider square setup. Made car neutral with heavier steering, but more traction for the additional 300hp over stock

I ran the OEM tire size recently on my F32 on KW V1s and the inside of the front tires rubbed on the strut (the spring perch i think).
