Can I leave trunk open ?
A gallon of water spilled out in my trunk coming home from the grocery store and it's soaked back there.
If I leave my trunk open will it drain my battery? I was hoping this dry climate of mine might soak it up but didn't want to lose power after leaving it open a few hours Thanks. |

I figured as much. TY It might be too much to evaporate. It soaked the entire floor of the trunk, as well as underneath in the storage cubicals. PO'd.
Have the trunk popped with the cubical cover popped ::fingers crossed:: |

The trunk light shuts off after a few minutes. You can leave it open without problems.

Aren’t the cars electronic there under the trunk carpet? When I left my front passenger window open in a rain storm I dried as much as could with towels which soaked up quite a lot, then used paper towels to get the rest then used a fan heater left in the car pointing at the carpet which I occasionally turned in differing directions.
This got most of it dried off, I still haven’t put down the floor mats just in case. |
