Hello.
I bought F31 320d touring recently and joined this forum from Japan. 320d is really nice for me. I would like to do coding to my car and looking for the way to do. Now, I'm looking for E-sys software and psdzdata. (And want to know which version is required.) How can I have these? I'm looking forward your kind advises. Thanks! |

Per a suggestion, I"m posting this here in hopes of some help:
As I prepare to take delivery of my 2013 335i x-drive in the next few weeks, im having a problem finding any information that is relatively new as to where to get the coding software required to code myself and a relatively new (less than a few months) cheat-sheet/DIY Guide to help educate myself why I sit here and look at an empty garage...some things i'd like to learn how to do (beyond get the software itself): A.S.S default off turn signals (parking lights) off at night change sport display to show HP/TQ permentaly white display on both gauges and HUD change length or shut of seat belt gong …and possibly many others I've read through the varies threads here on the topic and dont want to bother someone in the NH or MA area to do this for me (though it would be nice!)....so to prevent that and have flexibility in doing what I want, when I want, I'm hoping someone can help me out here??? I just really need to know where to get the software (I have a new macbook with retina blah blah blah and a dell laptop too with windows 7) and I need a cheat sheet/DIY guide. ANY help now would be appreciated so I can train myself a bit in the weeks to come before I get the car...thanks!! |

Would like to check. Can i enable ConnectedDrive for my F30?
I don't have the connecteddrive tab on my iDrive. Currently located in Singapore. I just saw the iphone app.. the BMW remote, i thought it's good if i can get it to work with my ride. |

Sport display
This may have been asked but I'm mobile and search on the iPhone app kinda sucks. Just did some coding and for "Sport Display" I either missed something or there isn't a way to make it functional. There were 3 modules total and I changed them so now I get the HP & Torque display but they are inactive, can this be changed? ('13 M-Sport 328i non navi)

They are usually set to 64 Hex, which represents 100 decimal or 100%. I would not recommend increasing it.

my car hasn't been updated yet, so i can still use the older esys and pdz files. I finally figure out how to start coding after intensive research, then it asks me for a token???!?! I thought i don't need tokens unless i use the newer one

even esys3.18.4 and older psdzdata need a token... it's just "free" and should be included in the original esys3.18.4 installer

menu is free (bragging rights), i.e. instead of BMW Services it will show ConnectedDrive... to get the feature you need FSC code

What Kon said, and look for a file named Code Away.EST. Then Under E-Sys Options => Settings => EST Tab, set the path to point to the EST Token file.
