Guys, I think everyone here jump into conclusion a little too early. With the 340whp run, a few important perspectives fail to be taken into consideration.
Is the car PWG or EWG? In 335i form, PWG is some 270whp stock and EWG 15whp more. Either way 340whp is a good gain for a setup of IC only (the only performance related mod on the car). Also, 300whp as his 'baseline' was done on a different day different dyno, which virtually mean nothing at all. Proper way is flash back to stock on the same dyno again. With the curve, I think there is maybe 10-15 in the range of 4500-5500 if it's a EWG. Doesn't surprise me as AA seems to market their product with power consistency a bit more than others. Lastly I don't even think dp is a worthy mod because there're too many to give with it. The refinement of car decreases significantly as cell count goes down, in the meanwhile, power in return is minimal if you believe me.

raichean you are comparing 2 different dynos on 2 different days. You need to do a baseline on the same dyno ... For all we know the dyno you are using now can read a lot lower than the one you used the first time with your baseline run

I understand but it's what I have.. I am very happy with it and the car and shows it. Believe me or not, that's your choice.
I have gotten PMs about how i did something wrong, they did something wrong, something wrong with my car, and so on and so on. I definitely know I am limited by the DP, and will change that as well soon and will run a dyno pass again at the same location. That said, that run won't be and cant be exactly the samenl either! Different day, different conditions, new ECU build for the DP and the DP itself! All in all I am VERY pleased with every component, the car is faster, more responsive and fun. Working AA primarily and their products has been great, and Mike of XPH is awesome. I am excited for the AA high flow DP and will share the results here. Initial review of the full logs by a friend I trust who took his N55 F30 over 425rwp, says I am right where I should be. 92 octane, stock DP and no E85 are the major factors, but all in all very positive stable improvements. I am also waiting on the review of full logs from AA.

Well ,looking forward to see your progress. Follow your senses ,you know your car,,will be interesting to see how she does with the dp. I’m sure AA will chime in or you’ll keep us updated.

I will go through the logs very closely and if there are adjustments to be made I will. I also will check, on suggestion, to make sure I dont have a turbo leak but dont believe I do. (but will check it anyway) I will keep sharing here and moving forward with what I have..

I think folks are rooting for him and are just interested in helping. Lots of comments here have been constructive , Some expected higher numbers me included. No one discouraged the op for having the AA tune, even those here with BM3 were hoping and rooting for the OP.

@raichean You've misunderstood a little bit. No need to take off hardwares next time you do it.
Always keep in mind do not dyno without baseline, at minimum baseline should be on same dyno machine. You can do a FBO stock tune for your baseline.

So anyone that is PMIng you telling you something is wrong or anyone that had higher expectations clearly has not been following this AA tune option bc as stated above you are dead inline. I think your results are actuslly high end. |

Our software team will be reviewing the logs today, but from a quick glance at the logs the boost numbers seem low by 3-4psi.

raichean solid run man. I haven't' looked at your logs yet but I would bet that the DME is pulling timing due to high IATs. Make sure that the hood is up and you have some really good fans blowing right on the FMIC. Also give it some time between pulls. When I dyno'd my second pull was actually stronger then my first pull with a 10 min gap. Ambient was about 79 and my IATs never went over 106 degrees during the pull. Here are my logs for comparison. This is on California 91 octane with 2 gals of corn thrown in.
1st run http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5a4589a2d10b4307dadd6db7 2nd run http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5a458b9bd10b4307dadd6db8

A good fan setup on the dyno is definitely very important. A few degrees of timing are worth quite a bit on these cars. |
