EBII is amazing, just picked mine up last night, couldn't stop starring at it in the garage! between that and our V Red X3, I think I made the best color choices possible. White is white, always white, no matter what lighting. Colors like EBII and V Red, change dramatically with lighting and stand out a lot more, if you are spending over $40K for a car, why just blend in with all the other white, black, silver cars on the road...

As far as resale, if you are leasing that doesn't matter, if you are buying it shouldn't either, BMW M Exclusive colors have never had a hard time selling, and since not many of them are out there you might get MORE selling it on your own if someone really wants EBII and can't find one, they will have their choice of thousands of white ones

I leased mine, but after seeing it and driving it for a day, I am starting to think I should have done a traditional finance purchase, in IL we get screwed with buying a lease when its up, I will basically pay double taxes if I do that (already paid taxes on 100% of the selling price with the lease and will have to pay taxes again if I purchase the car at lease end).

Estoril Blue is the way to go. White is white is white, not matter what fancy name they give it.

If its any help, I owned an EB '97 M3. Loved it (except for the repeated O2 sensor failures) and got lots of positive feedback. Then again I was 15 years younger.

To properly show I've aged, I ordered a MY13 335i MSport in Mineral Gray. Wife put the kabosh on EBII. White was given a thought but when I told her I wanted the Coral Red Interior, I got another dirty look.

I was in the same exact boat 2 weeks ago. Had no idea what to do. I visited my CA and there just so happened to be a EB 335i getting serviced. My jaw dropped once I saw the color. Pictures do not do that color justice. I knew what color I wanted right after that. No second thoughts

Have you considered as a 3rd option, Glacier silver ? It looks fantastic with the M Sport version. It's also a more practical colour in terms of maintenance compared to alpine white. I have owned several white BMWs; they were all a pain to maintain, showing every speck of dirt, insect bodies and road tar. One more advantage for Glacier silver: it is relatively rare !!
For looks alone, you can't really go wrong with either AW or GS. But for me, EBII reminds me of similar colours on many current econo hatchbacks. It's definitely one of those "look at me" colours. If you crave attention, you will definitely get some with EBII !!!

Color choice is totally subjective, but here's a thought. If you ever do mods or get into an accident that requires paintwork- the non metallic white might be easier to match...

Blue. End of discussion.
The resale is a non issue.
There are enough people trying to buy cars later that is something other than the standard white, silver, black and red.

I looked for months to find something other than those colors for my e90.
Blue. I love blue on BMW's.

Got to agree. Glacier silver on the F30 M sport does look very nice..really sharp color..

I vote EB. White is just a very common color, EB is unique. I think AW on the right car it looks great, but I think guys with AW F30's have a whole thing in mind. About resale, I would agree white is better for resale if we were talking about orange or green. But, EB denotes M-Sport. People that know the line and like the color will feel stronger about it.

I've never liked blue cars, but I just love EB.

About EB being a girly color. I think you'll be very hard pressed to find a girl owning a M-Sport with EB. While I think you'll find a zillion chicks driving white base 328's.

I saw the EB today for the first time on a F30. Frankly, I was pretty underwhelmed after all the hype. Not that I did not like it, but just that after all the hype about this color, I felt it was just ho hum. I think it is one color that will look dramatically better in low light compared to bright light. In fact I was speaking with my service adviser for quite some time while standing in front of the EB F30 and after looking at it for some 5 minutes, I suddenly realized that the color was the "famous" EB. Point is that it did not kind of stand out. But then again AW is so common, though it looks very nice to my eyes.
