Looking for lowering springs
I drive a 2014 328i xDrive, my buddy recommended me H&R, and someone else recommended me Dinan, I really like how the dinans look and im only looking for about a 1 inch drop.
If anyone is selling any springs, or know where to get em for cheap, please let me know! New to the forum and I live in the GTA, any recommendations for places that do installation will be very much appreciated as well, thanks! |

In my opinion it all comes down to individual preference. I am running dinan on my 340i xDrive and happy with the setup and the look. 1" drop in front and 1-1/8" rear. Springs are 30% stiffer but the ride is still comfortable and works well with adaptive suspension on my car. Dinan highly recommends supplemental Ride Quality & Handling kit to go with spring set, which i did install as well. Installation was done by Budds as I wanted to maintain factory warranty.

Key important difference is H&R sport springs are progressive while Dinan springs are linear. They'll feel different during bumps (compression) so it's more important to get matching dampers or you'll feel the bounce.
I personally run Dinans as it's better matched with their shockware EDC update. But...since you're only looking for a 1 inch drop, H&R are a cheaper option and you'll find ppl frequently parting them out (like this guy sold it for $100: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1482994, this guy for $250: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1519952)

I was referring to OP as he got his cpo. The only reason you would pay premium on Dinan products is due to the warranty. |

The springs cost around $400. they are the sport springs. The xdrive sits a little
higher then the rwd model. Springs fill the gap nice. Also added spacers. 10mm in front and 12mm in rear. The Carbon fiber lip I found on ebay. |
