Horn Won't Work

Hi everyone,

My horn doesn't work at all. All I hear when I press my horn is a click under the passenger dash. Any thoughts? I am aware of the service bulletin. Car is a 2015 435i, and still under CPO warranty.

If you have cpo warranty, then don’t worry about it, just bring it in and let them fix it for you

Same thing happened to me, under CPO. I think the work was almost $750 that was covered.

It would be that much for a horn replacement. I'm just happy it was before the car was out of warranty.

Replacing the horns shouldn't come to more than $250. If it's out of warranty don't get anything done at a dealership, they be thieves.

Luckily, I still have my warranty. I will say this, me and the dealer i go to have a good relationship. They're constantly giving me 20% off labor and parts on different things. I do have an indy shop I use for other things though.

In case you want to do it yourself, here's how I changed the horns on my f30 when they both died:
