Very nice power! I test drove a 335 and a 340 back to back and the power of the 340 was quite noticeable and impressive, I'm coming from a tuned 15' STI and I'm still impressed by my 340 and my STI was pretty damn quick...

I believe Terry mentions something about the DME limiting the fueling in an attempt to thwart tuning. If that is the case, well, it's only a matter of time before there is a way around that i'm sure.

Really wish we had some MPPK 340i dyno runs to compare with the BMS tune. I'm interested in what BMS builds, but the warranty of the MPPK is a huge selling point.

BUT, if the difference in price/power is big enough, BMS may be the winner from my tune budget.

Even the stock tune runs lean.

As an example below is my stock 328i dyno run and BMS stg 1 dyno run.

You can clearly see the stock tune is pretty rich and the BMS tune is almost perfect at just under 12-1 AFR's

Sometimes Terry will say it's a 93 octane run because he adds some octane booster. Not sure if he did in that graph though.
