Style 400M wheels. Worth fixing?

So I stumbled across this ad for a full set of 400M wheels with TPMS/caps/tires for $400 obo. One of the wheels is heavily damaged and wanted to share here if it’s fixable or should I just purchase another wheel? Currently looking for a 2nd set of wheels for the f36 as I currently have snows wrapped around my Sportline wheels.

nope, you can find them in good condition starting at around 600$, avoid the whole sending them out for repair, then you have to have them rebalanced, you'll end up paying more than 600$ once you're done. Are the tires brand spanking new? if so it might be worth it.

Look too damaged to be repaired without spending more. As another member suggested, just spend a bit more and get a better set.

Nah, not worth the expense of repair. 400M's are so plentiful on the used market. I've found complete sets in good condition with very minor curb rash for $300-$500.

Absolutely do not repair that wheel. And the tire is a write-off, also. If you still want to see if you can make it work, check the forums, sometimes you'll find one wheel. And you can pick up a matching used tire on ebay. But take shipping into account.

Thanks for the feedback. The tires have about 15k but the seller is willing to sell only 3 of them for a reduced price so I’m debating if I should pull the trigger and search for a 4th wheel or keep looking.

Great price on 3 OEM wheels + rubber.

I paid $1000USD for 4x winter tires on replica wheels like those ($500US for 4) -- $1500USD all in.

That wheel is screwed, but the tire might be fine. Maybe buy 3, and have him throw in the 4th "so you can dispose of it for him".
