Trying to do underglow

Neon lights/aka LED bars....if done in a tasteful way can make the car look nice. Nothing wrong with that. I see this kind of comments in all kids of car forums. People crapping on guys wanting to add lights to their cars. I say f-it. Lifes too short, Its your car, have fun and do what makes you happy.

the constant gatekeeping and judgment of tastes is ridiculous.

let people do them, if they wanna rice out their car, let them. nobody says anything when you drive around all high and proud in cars that make my grandfather look modern

I watch the Kies Motorsports YT channel and do whatever they do

Not hating on anyone that does any of those things, but what's the point of customization, customization, if we're all just going to do it the same? Do what you like, and realize that what you like isn't necessarily what others like. I thought this was a community of enthusiasts, not nannies.

Honestly, automotive lighting has come a long way so the term "underglow" while many of us think of neon tubes, it could certainly be 1 LED light the size of a quarter. Hell, people are putting LED bulbs in halogen headlights blinding everyone on the road which is a million times worse than a light under the car.

LEDs in reflector housing arent bad and still have a cut off if done right. Its rarely done correctly though. most folks just grab the cheapest crap they can get on amazon.

i want to see this underglow. i have been thinking of throwing them under the E36 for $h*ts and giggles.
