Question With BM3 for 340i xdrive
I have a 340i that's currently a lease, it wouldn't be too smart to buy BM3 would it. Since I've heard that when you take it into bmw they can tell it's been changed and stuff. So if I wanted to do BM3 it would be better off me buying out the lease right?

With BootMod3 you flash your car back to stock before you take it in for service. They can't tell unless they really go investigating. When you turn it in after lease you flash it back to stock. Then it can be resold once to install on another car. Details are all on their website

Idk what lock DME means lol, and I don't have BM3 right now I'm thinking about getting it. I got the full mppsk with the tune, using BM3 will override that tune right? Also with BM3 will there be a stock tune that came with the mppsk?

Yes, BM3 tune will override the MPPSK tune on your car now. It also comes with a stock MPPSK tune that you can load back onto your car when you turn the lease in or bring it in for service

Hmmmm thank you, do you think it's worth doing for a lease that lasts for another 2 yrs roughly? |

It's all a personal preference. I would say yes because it adds a good deal of power to the car. But at the end of the day it depends on your driving habits and if it's worth it to you
