I'll guess because titles are titles, not entire messages, so characters are limited.

Try posting in the normal area, not the title.

*help please* gives no usable info

Okay, anyways... can you answer my question? I'm not trying to be rude. I'm trying to figure out why my drivers restraint malfunction is triggered when I adjust my seat all the way up. Thank you in advanced.

Look under the seat to see if something is pulling on one of your cables and maybe triggering something.

Have you done repairs recently that might be coincidental with this failure?

Anyway, if it was me, I'd start with the visible wires and hope you see something obvious-ish.

How do you think the car knows when you click it to not get a ticket?

You probably figured out already that yes, it's associated. The seat needs to know you're sitting in it and not buckling the seat belt so it can warn you. Also, the wires for the seat belt tensioner (explosive canister). It might be two looms feeding into one central connector--not sure...haven't looked at mine yet. But, if you have a loose wire hitting metal and grounding...or a connection that's loose...or maybe hit something underneath when lowering the seat you may have knocked a connection astray. They're usually pretty solid.

I'd also scan for codes and see where they lead.
