Dinan Carbon Airbox Yellowing

Wondering if anyone else has this issue.

It's the resin reacting to heat. Exterior CF can do the same from UV exposure. Not sure if this is a production process control problem, or just inherent to carbon fiber in high heat areas. I'd contact the manufacturer.

Correct. Spoke with Dinan today and they are sending a replacement cover free of charge.

Just looked at mine and sure enough.. same thing. Did you just call Dinan and they swapped it out?

That’s a common issue with CF in the engine bay. Which is why I prefer plastic over CF in there.

Dinans about to get a whole bunch of calls for replacements

I love carbon fiber, but just can't justify the expense of having it under the hood. Cool they're making it right though.

I contacted them via email support and they responded quickly

Dinan shipping me a new one.. no hassle whatsoever. I just need to ship mine back after i get the new one.

Yeah, that's the nature of using that resin. It *will* yellow over time.
