Going catted DP from VRSF, still worth it to install the 90 deg spacer while I'm down there anyway?

In a different post I posted I got a comment saying the secondary o2 sensor also affects the Air Fuel Ratio. Anyone running rich or lean because of this?

Anyone do this with a catted DP?

Secondary is for emissions. It lets the car know if the cat is efficient

Just got my VRSF catless downpipes installed yesterday from a shop but I'd like to give a big thanks to the OP for the o2 spacer trick. I've driven about 100 miles since then and no CEL.

I Have a decat fitted, standard system but its still not quite loud enough. I love the fact i can make the car louder in sports and quieter in comfort, im thinking rather than cut the mid pipes out and risk drone to fit the remus axle back as it seems to be the cheapest valved axle back about, any one got this combo and fancy posting a sound clip?

Doesn't TX do emissions probe test? Or just ODB2? How do you get away with doing catless downpipe?

Which companies use hjs or gesi cats? What do you mean by “blowing them out”?

Obd2 so they don't test pipes like California. However this is off-road use only you know what I mean

Hopefully I'm not thread hijacking here: I'm planning out a mod path for my 340i this summer and a catless DP is on my list. If I get an OTS map will I still need the 2nd O2 elbow in order to avoid a CEL?

Actually I deleted cat code but it still comes back saying short circuit to ground aka not plugged in, instead of cat inefficiency so I think maybe yes. Going to put code back and report

Did you notice any rattle noise with the vrsf downpipes? I heard these downpipes don't come with the clip that uses 2 screws that are on the stock downpipe.

They do now. Any new VRSF DP will have the bracket.

i ordered a min ago and had it installed and it rattles but I’ve learned to live with it. I’m trying to see if I talk with vrsf to see if they’re willing to swap it out with the revised version because man it gets to me sometimes I got a nice car but sounds horrible in sport with that ridiculous rubbing

The rattle is from your wastegate, not the downpipe.

If you can post a video of the sound you're referencing along with a screen shot of your order number we'll be more than happy to assist you with the rattle you're experiencing.

This is one I made once i first had it installed to see if I could fix it and there was no revised dp but now there is .. it’s not that the pipe itself has an issue it just rubs up against the metal side wall of The car because it doesn’t have that small support bracket.

If it's rubbing then the downpipe wasn't aligned properly. Loosen the clamps and rotate it. The bracket doesn't prevent it from rattling.

i took it to get installed and even the guy told me that he tried moving it around to get it not to rub but regardless it rubbed and said because it being xdrive there’s more coverage or something under so it rubs. so I just left it as is
