Well, you have just to run in eco pro, you never hit 2000rpm lol.
I agree that comfort in D the upshift is too high.

I actually love my stage 2 flash. Sport mode and Sport+ with shifter in S mode is an absolute beast. Feels good with shifter in D with these modes too.

Comfort + D , is actually way better than stock IMO. The only mode I dislike is Comfort + S, in that mode I agree it does hold onto the revs little too long with light throttle.

Xhp with my MHD stage 1 tune has been amazing. I feel that the XHP tune mated my transmission to the MHD tune MUCH better.

I have hope that the customization tool will be released eventually and we can change these little things we dislike.

I think anyone with a flash tune for the engine should flash XHP.

XHP on Facebook :

The adjustable LC feature is getting closer to release and we prepared some data from 2 of our Development Cars!

Both cars are AWD and while one might think they have enough traction anyway and there is nothing to improve, it looks like the Factory Launch Control leaves some room. Maybe those cars weren't allowed to get to close to the numbers of the M-Cars, who knows.

Both cars gain an impressive ~ 0.5 second from 0 - 100 km/h. All measurements were done multiple times, at the same spot, at the same day, just minutes apart and recorded with a professional 10 Hz GPS-Tracker together with SprintBox Pro. (avail.on iOS)

Besides the raw data the difference can be felt easily in car as well, as for example the 335i (on MHD Stage 2) now spins all 4 wheels at Launch.

Car 1: 335i N55 xDrive F31 on MHD Stage 2 and xHP Stage 3 with raised LC parameters

Stock Launch with LC: 4.8s 0-100 km/h
xHP Launch with LC: 4.3s 0-100 km/h

Car 2: 335d N57 F31, Stock Tune, xHP Stage 3 with raised LC parameters

Stock Launch without LC: 5.8s 0-100 km/h
Stock Launch with LC: 5.4s 0-100 km/h
xHP Launch with LC: 4.9s 0-100 km/h

Data from RWD cars will follow!

If they give me 4000rpm launch, I'll try a 3.0sec the problem is when I shift from 1st to 2nd I'll probably be below 4000rpm again lol.

So tempted but holding off until PTF releases their TCU flash. It's getting harder to hold off with all of these updates though.

Agreed. I'm willing to bet the PTF TCU will be pretty good in comparison to the xHP. Honestly I think the only thing xHP will have over the PTF would be the ability to customize the settings. Which honestly wouldn't benefit 90% of its users.

Waiting for this PTF TCU is killing me though LOL.

Hold up. Does the shift point editor mean it will allow the end user to choose what ever RPM it wants the car to shift at during WOT?

I *think* it's applied to every scenario. ie, when reducing shiftpoint, it will shift earlier than normal at various throttle levels. But I don't know if it applies to WOT as well...

So quick review of V2.3 Stage 3

Comfort is an absolute joy to drive in again, it shifts just like stock (it used to shift between 3-3.5k rpm, now it's around 2.5-3k rpm) and its smooth as heck. Launch control works awesome too (I have the pre-lci, so no flag for me) I set my custom launch settings to 25%/25%

I love how XHP keeps on releasing updates!

Stock fueling, I don't like messing with meth and XDI is overpriced as hell, I'll wait for spool performance to release their hpfp with more flow for half the price.
