Wanted: F30 Sliding arm rest

Looking for a black leather sliding arm rest for my F30 - vertically challenged and my t-rex arms too short to reach the fixed one and hold the wheel at the same time.

Ideally the textured leather rather than F80-nappa leather one to match my seats.

Sorry to semi-hijack, can you get away with just changing the top of the armrest to a sliding one or do you need to change the whole armrest console?

You can just change the top. Plenty of videos on YouTube. Looks fairly simple, but most of them do! Reckon even a tech-biff like me can manage it.

Just the top part.

Is it the smooth leather, usually in M3/4 etc or textured for "regular" cars? Are you able to post a pic?

How much were you both looking for, inc P&P? I'm in deepest Cornwall so couldn't pick up I'm afraid.

I just swapped mind for the MPerformance Alcantara/CF one and it's really easy to do. Takes 10-15 mins and a couple of tools to make life a bit easier.

I have a red dakota leather one available for sale if anyone was interested in it.

Thanks, prefer genuine leather if I'm going to upgrade.

Reedyreedster has agreed to sell me his. Payment send. All good.

Armaan feel free to negotiate with any other the others.

I’ve gone for the “leatherette” version as the texture matches my seats. I found a black F80 nappa leather one on eBay and can post the link if you can’t find one on here.

If you don't mind posting the link that'll be great. Steering wheel getting retrimmed in nappa once this is all over so will match.

Is it Coral Red by any chance, I think there are a couple of red leather variants on the F30?

Think the leatherette version is the same as the pictures above - textured. There is a nappa leather version which is in M3/4 and it is a smoother leather.

Yes it's Coral Red, the standard F3x Dakota red. Pics below, where you can see it's definitely the sliding one. I've already had one PM enquiring so if anyone else is interested then get in touch. What's the going rate on these?

Yes correct. Leatherette matches most dashboards I think and the nappa leather one might well match the M3/4 seats.
