Steering & Chassis sensor going off

Hey guys,
I drove my car in the morning, parked it. Turned it on in the afternoon & BAM I got code pop up "steering!- drive moderately" at first I couldn't even move the steering wheel it felt like a car without power steering! So I turned it off & on, the steering went back to normal BUT the sensor was still on. I started to drive & another one pops up this time it was "Chassis stabilization- drive moderately". I know it's electric steering. The steering felt out of alignment. Which was very weird!! I brought my car to BMW OF MANHATTAN this morning, one of the advisors said it might be the steering rack. But I told him I did not hit any potholes or anything period. But that was his assumption. I told him I think it's just the sensor. Next thing you know it was the sensor they also said the car wasn't giving out enough voltage. So they changed the sensor & she's back to normal!! I'll upload the invoice picture of what they exactly did! Hope this helps someone out there having the same issue!
