Shout out to local dealer
Just a shout out to my local dealer, Performance BMW of Chapel Hill, NC. I had noticeable front tire noise on my 2015 428i GC, like feathering. They did the alignment, which was off but that didn't fix it. Then they replaced the front OEM tires, Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFTs for free. Staggered setup. The car had only 6,000 miles.
But that didn't work. So they worked with the regional BMW rep and offered to replace, as a goodwill gesture, all FOUR tires with a different make, Contisportcontact 5 SSR RFTs. After two days, that seemed to do the trick. Just grateful to them for following through on all of this. Thanks to Performance BMW! Performance BMW
Glad to hear you had a good experience. Right after Christmas, I bought my first BMW -- a pre-owned 2012 BMWi 328i Luxury from a little place in Raleigh.
Love the car, but took it into Leith BMW today and they've got a whole list of problems that they won't cover under warranty (including brakes and wheels). The car place I bought it from recommended Performance over Leith. So I'll be making an appointment for Performance today to see how things differ over there. |
