2018 Tanzanite Blue Metallic 440i M-Performance on 666's

I havent had time to sit down and make a small post for a while, so....

flew to CA in August to pick this up from a fellow member on here - jks27990, thanks so much to you and your family for the hospitality and kindness.

then, I just drove out to NJ to pick up the wheels a couple weeks ago (they're very real Shadowlines) and need to thank another member, f80arvs, for being so awesome with responding quickly and being great to communicate with.

going with a mild tire setup now (235/35F - 265/30R) to test everything before going a little wider/taller, if tolerance allows.

I really want to thank the bimmerpost guys for being great to deal with and make deals with. Looking forward to more in the future.

Tanz Blue '18 440i M-Perf, M-Sport susp w/variable dampers and M-brake pkge.

mods are:
AA dp, MHD Stg. 2 (no upgraded hpfp yet) and xHP Stg. 3

hope my shitty photos works, still need to lower maybe .5" or so...dont want it looking stanced but a little more aggressive without rubbing would be saweet.

edit: threw some more photos on here and even one of the yellow car... someone should. anyway, be well f30 people.

cheers.

You made a good choice! I have the same ones. Favorite part of the car. But oh so much fun to clean.

definitely going to be a little more of a chore to clean , I've done them twice so far but I will say the ceramic coat helps a little.

The New wheels look better than the wheels the previous owner had, very nice. A photo from the front, please.

442M is a nice 19" wheel but the machine face would have looked better imo...previous owner had his powdercoated. theyre definitely lighter than the 666M but looked off to me. thank you and more photos soon.

threw up some more photos from last weekend. tire height etc seems right with a small drop, the 10mm for M-Perf not enough still...most likely dinan springs and f8x bumps coming. hope you guys are doing well.

F8x bump stops make a big difference when it comes to handling.

The new pictures do it justice now. The 666m wheels are my favorite, but I may just be biased.

thank you sir! yes to me still the best looking wheel for the car. definitely heavier, and will go with an 18 or 19 to track the car, but for going to town wheels they are the best.

I used to have an F80, and now I have an F31. When I changed my shocks out for Koni’s, I also installed the F80 bump stops. Made a significant difference as the car was allowed to lean into the shocks without bottoming out. Even though my setup on the F31 is non-adaptive, I’m sure the F80’s stops would still fit an adaptive setup given my F80 had adaptive suspension.

the consensus is its probably the best bumpstop setup i could pair with a set of mild lowering springs. thank you for your opinion, good to hear from someone who's had them.
