touch up pain thinner
What can I use to thin the BMW touch-up paint. The thickness leaves big blobs. It would be much easier if I can apply several thin coats/spots and avoid the blobbing.

I wouldn't thin it at all depending on the size of the damaged area there are lots of options the cheapest being just a tooth pick all the way up to syringes and different needle heads. The brush that comes with the paint is hot garbage
watch this Larry does a killer job showing options skip to the 5:42 minute mark if your hard up for time. For me I have had great success with the lowe cornell paint pen. |

I was trying to find out what thinner to use for the paint. for small chips the standard paint is a little too thick. I have the "pen" used in the AMO video and have syringes on order. My 5 has quite a few very small rock chips on the leading edge of the hood. I will get some of the BILLFITZ touch up applicators as well.
