thanks!
I wouldn't recomend a 255 on a 8" wide wheel.

245 square will be a good fitment!

ET and wheel offset is the same.

BMW also use IS for offset on OEM wheels.

Thanks .BMW.

So ET35 would simply mean 35mm of positive offset.

So what's the foolproof 19" staggered setup for stock xDrive? No rubbing, no spacers etc.

Correct.

A good fitment would be:
F: 8.5x19" ET32-35
R: 9.5x19" ET40-45

I guess the other half of the equation is tires, so for those wheels what tire combo clears everything and fills up the wheel wells nicely? Any one have pics of such setup on their car?

F: 8.5x19", 235/40-19 (2% taller than OEM)
R: 9.5x19", 275/35-19 (2% taller than OEM)

or

F: 8.5x19", 235/35-19 (2% shorter than OEM)
R: 9.5x19", 275/30-19 (2% shorter than OEM)

Both setups have matched front and rear diameters which is important with xDrive.

I would probably have picked the first option, with higher profile tires. It fills the wheel wells a bit better on your xDrive.

Hello!
I want to replace the rims for a set of winter tyres (205/60R16) on my 320i xdrive. Therefore i'd like to know an offset on oem 16*7 rims and possible variation in this parameter.
Thanks in advance!

OEM 16" for F30:
7x16" ET31

For aftermarket wheels you can look for ET 20-30.

Offset et 30/35?

Hi guys

I want to buy Breyton CS wheels for my F30 335i msport

19x8.5 et 30 front / tires 223/40
19x9.5 et 35 rear / tires 255/35

Wheel upgrade from 16" to 18"

Hi guys

I would like an opinion.

I recently bought M437 replicas for my BMW 320d 184hp F31, and the factory settings says the measures should be 18x8" ET34, BUT the replicas I bought are 18x8" ET30.

Will these be ok to ride on as the offset is different positioning the wheel outwards and extra 4mm?

Does this not put any extra pressure on all the components compromising security of the veicle?

Thanks for your help guys!

4mm is nothing to worry about!

Many members here run 10 or 12mm spacers on the OEM front wheels.

I have a 2013 335i M-Sport with the staggered 400M wheel setup. Its time to replace the Pirelli RFT's. I want to go wider and non RFT.

Does anyone know what's the widest tires I can put on these wheels?

Thanks!

Widest on front is probably a 245.
Widest on rear is the OE size which is 255.

so for 18" Double Spoke Style 397 (Sport Line wheels) - 18x8" ET34 recommended max width is 245/40/18?

Why tirerack show optional size like 225/45/18 front and 255/40/18 rear?
Can it be 225/45/18 front and 245/40/18 rear?

225/45-18 front and 255/40-18 rear is the OEM staggered tire sizes for F30.

But since style 397 are square wheels, 225/45-18 is the OEM size (both front and rear). 245/40-18 square will fit fine as well.
