Right Low Beam Malfunction after replace Halogen to LED.

Hi, I have a 2015 BMW 320i (F30).

As everyone already know, I also don’t like Halogen bulb so that I changed DRL and Headlight for LED Bulb.
I used Cougar LED since the review was fine and it provided avoiding errors.

After changed the bulb today, I drove just few miles.
I could find the warning sign in my monitor that shows “Right Low Beam Malfunction”.

With the warning sign, my bulb was totally fine.
It works as normal condition.
Anyone had same issue or how to fix(remove) the warning sign?
Thanks.

Did you code for LED use? There's no such thing as plug and play LED with BMW.

I didn’t.
Is it the only way to solve my problem?
1. Using decoder
2. Using Vgate and App to code out

Coding for LED is mandatory. Every thread here dealing with successful LED installs covers it.

I have a F30 converted halogen to HID and LED fog lights.

Two options:

Either code them out
Buy that adapter that goes between the bulb and the car harness to trick the car

Or just live with that annoying ass error lol.

My suggestion you're going to have the car a while buy the Carly adapter and code it out yourself. Easy, somewhat cheap and can do future things on the car.

Thanks.
It my last question.

Do I need to get decoder wire and module?
Or I can get Vgate with Bimmer code to coding?

Just get Vgate and Bimmercode. Problem solved... and the bonus of a SHIT LOAD of other benefits.

You still have to code off the warm and cold checks, otherwise the lights will flash every minute or so.

Okay guys.
Thanks a lot for you guys help.

For the warning sign after replace the LED light,
Get a Bimmercode and Vgate, and check the warm and cold, change the bulb to Led.
And everything goes well without warning sign, is it right?

Is it possible to code it through esys and ENET cable for the LED light or does it have to be bimmercode with vgate? Thanks.

You can code for LED with ESys, it's in the coding data base.
