Am I missing something here? Apart from vehicle location and sending directions to the SatNav, there doesn't seem to be much else on offer!

Nope! I think you used to be able to make the lights flash or sounds the horn if you're nearby to locate the car. Maybe lock it too?

Its a waste of time. The flash/horn takes sooooooooooo long for your car to respond (depending on the 2G network signal strength where your car is parked). I can never get the location to work (always says cant locate my car), and the odd time it does work, you have to be < 0.9miles from the car for it to work (so no good to locate a car if it was stolen).

Mine locates it just fine. But I don't have the options that you mentioned. I recall you saying a few days back that you had an update to the app. But it's not come through on mine as of yet.

My "remote" app has the following options.. Tbh the google find bit is the best bit and I use it to send destinations to my car Nav regularly

yeah I'm fairly sure you do need to do something in the ConnectedDrive site to enable the additional functions but it's been a while since I did it. I definitely recall that there was an additional layer of security to enable before it would allow you to add them (which makes sense given that it allows someone to find and unlock your car).

Realistically what other options can we hope to be added to the app? I'm not talking a wish list, more what could be added without any major car updates.

Pretty sure you have to select update features in car as well once you're registered iirc?

Make the remote climate feature useful, I.e. Be able to turn on air con/heaters remotely and not just blowers.
