Coding on F34 - Success

I don't know what the trunk central lock is, if there is such a thing at all. If it is possible this is where you'd find out:

watch the pictrure in the post i quote. thats what it is ( the trunk button is part of comfort access) and your link has a few codings nearlly not every possibility

My trunk does not have that. If you speak German you can open up E-Sys and look at all the CAFD entries to see if anything there does what you want.

Has anyone here used Carly to code? My friend just did a bunch of the common codes and it seemed pretty straight forward. It connects to an app vs inputting codes via a laptop.

Tht only issue was the code to close the trunk via key fob and footwell switch did not work. Anyone know how I can code this?

I have mine set to turn on with the parking lights once the doors unlock. But I think it's only for the first 20-30 secs.

I've never coded anything before, and would turn to a professional. But curious if anyone knows of a code to stop the hatch from closing after a certain period of time. I'm doing lots of trunk related stuff with the GT (that's what it's for!) but the damn thing closes on me after a while. Very annoying.

Also love that we can re-code to allow closure of the hatch with the FOB and driver's side button. Why that's not standard I'll never know....

the only scenario where I can see that happen is if the keys are in your pocket and you happen to trigger the sensor that is under the rear bumper with your foot... part of the "hands free"/ comfort access package.

Are you standing by the bumper and activating the convenient close? Do you have a carbon fiber diffuser? My trunk always goes off when I'm around the sensor because the CF makes it all trippy. I just coded it off and it doesn't open or close anymore when I'm doing stuff near my rear bumper. Bimmercode can code the hatch also to close via key fob.

I've had my hatch try to close on me a few times while unloading or loading my golf clubs. At least it beeps a warning before it tries to kill you. Not sure if my foot went under the car and triggered it or what happened.

that's exactly what's happening... putting on golf shoes while sitting in the trunk dangling my feet over the side right at the sensor.

speaking of hatch issues, i've burned myself quite a few times on a hot exhaust pipe.

Considering the height of the lip I can't see sitting in the trunk. At my age if I got in there in the first place I might not get out.

Haha simple solution is to just code off that feature. I never used it anyway. Now the trunk never closes or open when I'm behind it!

Trying to code the mirrors to fold when I lock my 2015 F33 from the key fob and unfold when I open the car from the fob using bimmercode app and a Vgate iCar pro OBD adapter. I have tried to code a few things and most have taken but I cant seem to get the mirrors to work (No delay and convenience opening/ closing set). Anyone got any ideas?

Also, I can’t get the rear outer lights to come on with DRLs. Again, any ideas very appreciated.

Go to Front Electonic Module, scroll down to Mirrors. That light setting probably has to be done in FEM expert mode.
