Maybe my terminology is misleading. Here's copy/paste of my post above

Latest CER estimate: the UK economy is 2.5 per cent smaller than it would be if Britain had voted remain. The knock-on hit to the public finances is £19 billion per annum – or £360 million a week.

Take it or leave it, these economists are a pro - Europe think tank. I would listen to them more than to Prof Patrick Minford and his crew, who as a Vote Leave economist, brazenly stated that Brexit would mostly eliminate manufacturing in the U.K. - and that we shouldn't be concerned about it

Just watching the Laura K programme.

What a total shambles the lot of them are. I can see why it went wrong with TM not getting people together. BUT I can see why she didn't......the whole lot of them are in it for their own personal agendas.

I cant see even buddha getting that lot to reach a compromise that was good for the country rather than their own ideology.

Now we have people forcing a long extension which all sounds great until you see the small print from the EU.
Barnier said today a long extension if granted will cost billions, block trade talks, make us a rule taker with no say and is not much better than a no deal.

I am going to stick my neck out and say we will have a referendum. Of course it wont be called that, it will be a confirmation vote with remain as an option.

And BMW Mini workers
BMW has stated that it might move Mini production out of the UK if the U.K. leaves the EU without a deal

I didn't bite on the original post/article but if the computer selected Luxembourg as being a similar economy to the UK perhaps they need to find a new programmer....

It's commonly accepted that the UK economy hasn't grown at the same rate as other equivalent economies around the world. So, our economy is is smaller than it should be. Play with the words and terminology however you like.

There is a lot of evidence out there to point to the reasons this has happened. The only people who seem to dispute this, are the same people that have for the last 3 years consistently used their hopes and dreams to argue against the facts and logic right there in front of them.

Maybe if she fills the cabinet office with guns and a few IRA terrorists he would be interested?

Excellent Jezza to the rescue! FFS, has any Tory PM ever addressed the nation to say I'm shit out of ideas so I've asked an old Marxist to help me....because that's what she just did, he said he was going to speak to Nicolás Maduro and get back to her.

Interesting times.

Former Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe on Newsnight. Mad as a box of frogs but on this occasion, 100% spot on
Hard to disagree.

I know it’s the express and so hardly trustworthy but it does seem to contain stats that show eurozone countries suffering...

Yeh, the inclusion of Luxembourg was odd, I agree, and they didn't say what their criteria were. Rest of the article was pretty standard stuff really. I know that Lux is the world's most competitive economy in terms of per capita GDP but really not sure what it's doing there otherwise
