Is this normal ?
Locked my car this evening as usual, but happened to notice the back lights on the headlamp switch panel, and the hazard light switch were still illuminated, even after the car was locked.
I checked a few mins later, and they had gone off. Just never noticed it before. I this normal behaviour? |

There are some systems that stay awake for short period after the car is locked. I know the hazard light switch is a common indicator that some systems are still active but I’ve never heard of the headlight switch light being on. Doesn’t mean it’s not meant to be. You should find, if you’re that interested, that if you keep an eye on it for a couple of minutes they will both go off to show all systems have gone to sleep. All completely normal

That's good to know thanks. I normally lock the car as I'm walking away, so never look through the window immediately after locking. It was only because I left something in the car and went back that I noticed it.
As long as I'm not the only one, I'm happy it's normal. |
