Codding headlight module
I bought a totaled 2017 BMW 330xi, I have fallen in love with the car and almost complete with the repairs. I had to replace one of the LED light control modules. I replaced the unit with the exact same model number but the item did ship from another country (ebay)
link to item purchased (https://www.ebay.com/c/19014145082) I have listed the issues I'm having below Side markers are not illuminating High beams do not stay lit (3 seconds maybe) Sometimes lights dont work at all The dash indicates low and high beam malfunction Below is a list of DTCs from my Bluedriver scanner. -805B12 FLE_R: Low-beam headlight 1: Voltage outside of tolerance range -805B2B FLE_R: High beam: Voltage outside of tolerance range -805B3A FLE_R: Lowbeam headlight: Function defective -805E63 High beam headlight/headlight flasher: Function defective My question is does this sound like codding issues or a faulty control module. I could see the issue with the marker light being coding related but the list of faults have me leaning towards bad module. If it could be coding is it possible to backup the codding from the working headlight module and dump it to the used ebay module? Any help in the right direction would be appreciated! I'm not afraid to learn the codding actually looking forward to it for some other mods I have seen. I already own the ENET cable. Thank you. |
