Custom Tuner Recommendations?
Just got a GC+, HPFP, xHP. My current tune is a custom tune from PJ on stock turbo and fueling. Reached out to Odin Tuned and he let me know that he's had poor results tuning the GC+ and that he's not interested.
I could go PJ again but that guy is going to charge an arm and a leg to tune my car, something like $1,500 for a dyno session which means with a dyno rental ill be shelling out $2,000. Anyone have any recommendations? |

We offer custom maps by Cary Jordan, I used one of his maps on my M4 and was pleasantly surprised

Thanks for the reply. He is an option, but for some reason my current custom tune from him does not run very well at all so I flashed to something else and never went back to it.

I'd personally us Aiman at HLC performance OR Kirill @ OdinTuned.
Both are incredibly capable. HLC goes fast. OdinTuned talks you through the entire process.

Kirill let me know that he hasn't had much luck with the GC+ and basically wasn't interested. I'm just going to go with Paul and shell out the money.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned David Shoup or Doug Newton. I see both those names mentioned all the time on the B58 facebook groups.

I WOULD ONLY HAVE YOUR CAR TUNED IN PERSON ON A DYNO.
Don't be sending your maps back and forth for someone to modify them. Get it done right and in person, and if you ever modify things after the tune… the tuner should be able to fine tune for less money as you modify the car. Also, if you Vargas GC+ your car, not many tuners will like this, it spools very late, timing is hard to work with (unless you run an e85 blend). If all you have is 91 octane.. then the GC+ will be tough for tuners to work with. |
